Helpful Info/FAQ’s:

General

1. The daily schedules are a planning guide to help keep us stay organized and give everyone a taste of Belize. However, nobody is expected to attend everything, and you are free to plan your time as you choose.

2. If you wish to go off and do your own thing for the day; go for it. However, please let the daily coordinator know if you won’t be attending an activity so we know not to wait for you.

3. If you plan to book your own excursions in Belize, I recommend doing it sooner rather than later. This is the busy season in Belize and things can book up quickly.

4. Please make sure to fill out your Survey Monkey RSVP form for excursions and dinners so we can reserve enough spots for everyone. This is the busy season in Belize, and we need to give the tour operators and restaurants an accurate headcount. The deadline for returning this form is November 20, 2024. Unfortunately, after this day we will not be able to include you with our group as we have to give our tour operator and restaurants final numbers.

5. Each day there will be a couple “Daily Coordinators” helping us out and taking care of details and are available to answer questions. Our kids graciously offered to assist us with this so we would have more time to relax and enjoy our week with everyone. Their numbers will be listed each day so please feel free to reach out to them.

6. We will create a group chat on What’s App so people can communicate and stay updated on any changes. If you don’t have What’s App, please download the app and create a profile.

7. Please ask your question on What’s App group as probably many people have the same question and that will allow us to address it one time.

8. All of the times on the daily itinerary are approximate as it is hard to know exactly how long things will take. Please utilize the What’s App group chat for changes/updates.

9. As we have several tours lined up with guides waiting for us, we cannot wait for you if you are late. If you are going to be late, please let the daily coordinator know so we can determine how to proceed.

10. There is a convenience store located in the Grande Caribe if you wish to get things to stock your fridge to make breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc. There are also several larger grocery stores in town and multiple restaurants close to the resort.

11. If you have kids coming, please bring a life jacket for them when they are on Pretty Lucky.

12. You are allowed to bring your own drinks/cup into the bars. When ordering a drink, they will put it in your mug if you prefer.

Golf Cart FA’s

1. Golf carts are the main mode of transportation on Ambergris.

2. Wendy and Eric are covering the cost of your golf cart but not any damage you may incur so please be careful.

3. Do not plan to leave anything in the cart when you park it, or it may be stolen.

4. The golf car comes with a lock, and it needs to be locked whenever you park it. Please keep track of the key.

5. Please watch where you park and only park in actual parking spots. They are known to give out parking tickets from time to time.

6. The cart needs to be filled with gas prior to returning it. The gas station is located right before the bridge into town.
